First Attempt at Eating

Mia has started salivating when we eat dinner. I thought maybe it was time to start her on some rice cereal. As it turns out, I was wrong! She didn't quite know what to do with it yet. The little that made it in her mouth, came right back out! Maybe I'll wait a bit longer!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Holidays are so much more fun when a little one is involved! St. Patrick's Day was never exciting to me till Mia arrived! We had fun at Grammy's house taking pictures of our little lepruchan!!

I Love You This Much

Kris has been coming home from work every night and telling Mia "Daddy loves you thhiiiissss much" and he'll spread his arms wide. Well, she woke up from a nap and knew how to do it! I caught it on video so he would believe me that she did it back!

Wow Time Flies

So I realized that I'm not a very good blogger! I can't seem to keep up! And I can't believe its been over a month since the last post! And so much has happened in the past month! I'll try to keep up a little better!!!!

Mia's Cousin

Josiah James Vance came to see us finally on February 18th. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches long. Mama and baby were very healthy and happy! Mia loves her cousin too and she can't wait for him to get bigger so they can play play play!!!

Mia's Trick

We have been trying to teach Mia how to blow raspberries and she finally learned and its all she does now! Its pretty cute! She always finds the best time for them too, like the especially quiet times in church!

Mia's First Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, Kris got up real early and made breakfast. We had eggs, bacon, cinammon rolls and strawberries.





Then we opened our gifts. Kris got me a Nicholas Sparks book I hadn't read yet and a miniature rose bush to plant in our courtyard. I got Kris some cologne and surprised him with a Valentine picture of Mia and I together. Mia got a love bug and a Valentine's Day outfit.

Since Valentine's Day was on a Saturday, we didn't want to fight the crowds to get into a restaurant so we decided to make dinner at home together. Plus, we didn't want to leave our favorite Valentine!!
