Park Time!
Daddy wanted to take Mia to the park to play. It was super hot as you can tell from Mia's pink cheeks but we still had fun!
Mia's Cheeser
Mia has learned "cheese" when she sees a camera. It doesn't really have to even be a camera, just something resembling a camera! She does it best for Auntie M's cell phone! Here are a few shots of her cheesin!

Mia's First Steps

Playing with Uncle Kevin
Mia got to meet her uncle Kevin for the first time on her trip to Iowa. They had sooo much fun playing together.
Grandma and Grandpa's 30th
Grandma and Grandpa Olson had their 30th wedding anniversary when we took our trip to Iowa. You don't see that too often these days.

Mommy's First Mother's Day
Mother's Day was great! Kris and Mia got up and fixed breakfast for me. They got me some flip flops and a bracelet to remember my first mother's day. We spent the afternoon at Aunt Janae's house and then came home to have a web cam session with Gramma and Grandpa.
I bought Mia the cutest headband that has pigtails attached. The first picture is Mommy and Mia at church on Mother's Day but you can't see the pigtails real well so the second picture is Mia with Aunt Janae, who also celebrated her first Mother's Day.

Mia's First Easter
Ok...I know I have been slacking again on the posts. But I have been waiting for the Easter pictures. And now they are here. So post on...
Our Easter was very good. On Saturday, we went to CALM, a little zoo here in Bakersfield, and had a picnic lunch with some family. Then we walked around and let Mia check out all the animals. She wasn't so fond of the horse. I think it was too big for her. She did like feeding the sheep with Daddy tho!
Sunday we went to church and then had lunch at Grammy and Papa's house. GG came to eat with us and play with Mia and Josiah. It was a good day but Mia was very very tired after a day with no nap!!
Mia just loves her cousin, Josiah. She takes such good care of him!

Mia's First Beach Trip
We took a long weekend and went to the beach for Kris' and my birthdays the first weekend in April. We stayed at Aunt Rosie's beach house in Cambria. It was pretty windy the whole time we were there but its so beautiful there that it didn't really matter! Grandpa and Grandma Olson missed us so much that they flew out for the weekend to visit with us. We had such a good time with them. We went on a walk out on the cliffs in Cambria, walked downtown Pismo, and had a delicious dinner at Cracked Crab. Of course, Mia had a good time discovering new things. She loved putting her toes in the sand!
