Monkey's Jumping on the Bed

Mia loves when Daddy throws her on the bed and Macie has just recently got brave enough to join in on the fun!

Can we have it Mom, Please????

Janae and James went on a Mexican Riveria cruise for her 30th birthday so their dog, Jasper, was staying with us. Jasper is so patient with the babies and lets them do pretty much whatever. This was the game of the day...the babies thought it was great!!!

Baby Hawkeye

One of the cutest fans ever!!! Gets even better...wait till you see both the girls in their cheerleader outfits Grandma Olson sent! Stay posted for those...

Oh that face just makes my heart melt!

MMM Spaghetti

Our church had a Spaghetti Cookoff on Labor Day and we had lots of leftovers! Mia loved spaghetti!!!! She calls it "oodles"

Now That's What I Call...

...Cleaning your plate!

Oh, Its Been SOOOO Hot!

It finally cooled down enough for the kiddos to go outside and play without frying!!! They had so much fun playing in the dirt! Mama had a rough time getting them clean! Dirt was everywhere! But it was so fun it was definitely worth it!

One Smart Daddy

Kris has been studying for another test these past few weeks and he took it this weekend. Of course he passed!!!!!! He's soooooo smart! When he called to tell me he passed I joked with him and said he was now Kristopher A. Olson, ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP and Mia said Dada, EIEIO. So funny!

We love you very much Daddy!!!!!

Race Day

Kris and I, along with some friends, Jonathan and Jennifer, decided that we wanted to run in a 10K at the coast. Kris found it online in March so we all started training for it. It started at Morro Rock in Morro Bay and ended at the Cayucous Pier. The guys' goal was to finish in 50 minutes and the girls' goal was just to finish...but we gave ourselves 90 minutes.

Kris finished in 51 minutes

Jonathan finished in 56 minutes

Julie and Jennifer finished in 77 minutes! Blowing our 90 minute goal out of the water!!!!

We are so proud of ourselves that we finished and are looking forward to more races!!!

New Favorite Snack

Thanks to Grammie...Mia's new favorite snack is ice cream!!! She loves it. Asks for it all the time. As soon as she gets to Grammie's house she asks for it. If she gets in Grammie's car, she says "Bite, Ice Cream" and of course, Grammie and Papa can't resist. She wakes up from her nap and asks for ice cream (see pics below!!! that explains the crazy hair!)

We are currently trying to potty train and Mia is afraid of the toilet. Well Grammie told her she needs to go pee pee on the potty and Mia responds with "buy me ice cream?" Grammie told her if she went potty like a big girl she'd buy her an ice cream...didn't work...still afraid!!!!

Cousin Brady

Mia and Macie got a new cousin in May and the girls just love him. Auntie M brings Brady over to play with his cousins a couple times a week and Mia wants to hold him all the time. Brady doesn't always care for it tho!

The little mama...he's starting to cry but she's "shushing" him!

Little mama "shushing" me because Brady is sleeping!

Macie's First Cubs Game

Kris got Cubs vs. Dodgers tickets for his birthday for the July game at Dodger Stadium. We left Mia with Grammy & Papa and Macie got to go by herself with Mama and Dada! We had such a good time. She really enjoyed her time alone without her big sister to drown her out!!

She got tired!!!

Sleepy Girl!

When Mia was in the high chair she never fell asleep so I didn't have any of the classic shots from her. So I was so excited when Macie fell asleep in the high chair!!!

Visit with Grandpa & Grandma Olson

Our visit with Grandpa and Grandma Olson in June was so fun. Mia remembered them and wanted them to play with her constantly. She really enjoyed the undivided attention they gave her! Macie took a bit to adjust to Grandpa and Grandma, (she's quite the mama's girl), and once she did she even let Grandpa rock her to sleep!!

Sponge Rollers!

Mia's hair is starting to get really long so I thought it would hold sponge rollers. It held the rollers but not very well! The end result looked like a rat's nest and I didn't remember to get pictures before I combed it down but here are pictures with the rollers in!

Happy Girls!

Haven't blogged in a while...where does the time go???

Here's our happy girls!

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny stopped at the Olson house!!! He brought an Easter basket for Daddy, Mia and Macie. They all got swim suits for the summer!!

Easter Eggs

Grammie wanted to color Easter Eggs with the babies this year. It wasn't nearly as disastrous as I thought it would be. Mia loved it. She clapped after putting every egg in the dye! Josiah felt like he needed to color his hands as well. Macie watched and learned some technique for next year!

Josiah's favorite color was blue...it showed up the best!

Mia clapping after she dropped an egg in!

Macie intently watching learning for next year

The finished product!

Mr. Potato Head

Mia has recently discovered Mr. Potato Head and loves him. She likes to take him apart and someone else put him back together. She's getting better at putting him back together on her own. Curiousity got the better of her as it does for most kids and tried Mr. Potato Head's mouth out on herself!

Papa's Girl

Mia loves to play with Papa outside...probably because he gives in to her every whim.
