Grandma and Grandpa Olson meet Macie

Grandma and Grandpa Olson came out in November to meet their new granddaughter Macie. She sure is different than her sister. She loves to eat and is cold blooded like her Daddy.
Macie and Grandpa

Grandpa helped me install Mia's new swing, she really likes it as you can see. But don't push too high.

Mia hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandpa and Grandma helped us with yard work. Things look alot better but we still have some work to do. The previous owner let everything die. Mia had to come out and show Grandpa her Harley outfit. Grandpa is such a softy for little Harley girls.

We went to the California Living Museum (CALM). Mia liked the birds of course. The petting zoo was also alot more fun this time.

Mia's First Birthday

I can't believe my baby is one. Its been an eventful year to say the least. She has touched so many lives in just the short time she's been in our family. We've had a fun year and are looking forward to so many more!!!

We had her first birthday party on Halloween and it was a costume party! All the kiddos were so cute in their costumes! Mia was spoiled with presents from everyone!!!! She wouldn't dig into the cake however...afraid to get her hands dirty I guess!!

Happy 1st Birthday Baby!

Catching Up

Sorry its been so long since I've posted...its hard to get computer time with two babies and on the days I have my nephew, almost impossible!!! I'm trying to catch up. Our sweet little Macie will join the blog soon!!!

Sweet Dreams?

Mia is not a sleeper. We take advantage of anyway we can get her to sleep. Daddy caught this sleep position one morning!

William Hearst's Zebra

William Hearst had a zoo when he lived in his castle in Cambria. Its been said that the zebra are still on the hillside. We finally got to see them on our way home from the beach.

Mia Loves the Camera

All we have to do is touch the camera and Mia starts cheesin!

Atascadero Zoo

I know I'm very behind! Back in September, we went to the beach for a little break from the valley heat. This particular day wasn't quite the escape we intended for! It was 1oo in Atascadero but we enjoyed the zoo anyhow! Because of the heat, most of the animals were very lazy.

What a cheeser!

Whoa! What kind of animal is that?!?!?

The flamingos were Mia's favorite because they were the most active!
